This pavilion functions as both an art market and a communal painting studio. Local artists can display and sell their work to a new demographic in Uptown New Orleans, rather than the tourist-heavy French Quarter. V-shaped columns, inspired by tapered paintbrushes, hold canvases and palettes, while glass-paneled walls allow evenly distributed natural light. Seating accommodates autonomous sitting, perching, lounging, and squatting, offering visitors a clear view of incoming streetcars.
